Delete Your Account

You can delete your Jahiz account from inside the app at Settings → Account Actions → Delete account. Deletion removes or anonymizes your personal information and signs you out everywhere. If you cannot access the app, you can request support-assisted deletion after ownership verification.

Overview
This policy explains how account and data deletion works and what to expect, in line with App Store and Google Play expectations that users can initiate deletion from inside the app.
How to delete your account
Sign in to the app, open Settings → Account Actions → Delete account, review the warning, and confirm. This authenticated self-service action deletes only the signed-in account.
Support-assisted deletion without app access
If you cannot sign in to the app, email jahizanalytics@gmail.com from the email address registered to your Jahiz account with the subject "Account deletion request". We will verify that you own the account before processing the request. Do not send your password or authentication codes by email.
What is deleted
Your account is closed and can no longer sign in. Personal identifiers such as your name and email are removed or anonymized, and your active sessions are revoked.
What may be retained
To keep historical records consistent and to meet legal, security, or audit obligations, some data — such as match or analytics records — may be retained in an anonymized or aggregated form that is no longer linked to your identity.
Timeline
Authenticated in-app deletion takes effect when you confirm it. Support-assisted requests are acted on only after ownership verification. Where anonymized records are retained, they are kept only as long as needed for the purposes described, or as required by law.
Logout vs. deletion
Logging out only ends your session on this device; your account and data remain. Deletion permanently closes your account and removes or anonymizes your personal information.
Historical match & team data
Matches, encounters, and team data you created may be retained in anonymized form so historical analytics and records that others rely on remain intact, without identifying you.
